About Star Band

Financially struggling, a significant portion of Star Band’s assets would be liquidated in September 1976. Star Band’s vacuum forming division would be purchased and relocated to Baltimore, MD where it would become Artform Industries. Star Band’s blow-molding and artificial Christmas tree divisions would be purchased by General Foam Plastics. Star Band would later suffer a fire covering “two square blocks”, destroying their then empty warehouses.
