About Blinky Products

Founded in 1967 by Mr. & Mrs. Wilber, Blinky Lites, Inc. earned its name by manufacturing blinking, battery powered Halloween safety flashlights. After the death of Mr. Wilber, the company was sold to Regis and Pat Magnus in 1978. A new parent entity was established, Plastic Assembly Corporation. In addition to manufacturing and selling the (then renamed) Blinky Products product line, the parent company operated as a blow molding contractor for a variety of other companies. Plastic Assembly Corporation would later be dissolved in 2010. Patrick Magnus, the son of Regis and Pat Magnus, would establish a new entity (Blinky Products, LLC) in 2011 which has continued production and remains in business today.

• Under ownership of the Magnus family, many of Blinky Products’ iconic products were designed by Pat Magnus herself—including the company’s logo
• Some of Blinky Products’ product photography and catalog covers feature Magnus family members
• All three iterations of Blinky Products companies have been registered in Massachusetts
