1965, 1966, and 1967 editions of a New York City telephone directory entries are among the few references we’ve found to Bel Air Plastics Corp. The company’s 4201 1Av address was previously home to Arden's Furn. Industries, a furniture retailer, between 1959-1960. The lot was ordered to be vacated in 1974, but it is unknown if Bel Air Plastics Corp. was still in business at that point.
